Commander Clark was sent to Earth to return what he is worth. Place the blame away from me, I'll show you what I want to see. I fell high above the waves, acting dumb I lost my place. Wasted person, wasted face, growing foolish every day. Gotta keep my head up, gotta keep my head up, gotta keep my head up, gotta keep my head up.
I lived in the U.S.A., it was big and it's OK. Went to school, I took the bus, took an hour but it was fun. Listened to punk tunes all the time, Blink and Sum they were my rhymes. Getting pumped up every day for a life I thought I hated. Gotta keep my head up, gotta keep my head up, gotta keep my head up, gotta keep my head.
Well I got friends that're telling me what they think that I should be. Better questions and advice, I ain't feeling very nice. So I'll yell back and maybe swear, I'll yell back and maybe tear up whatever friendship we had left...but I loved those days, they were the best. Gotta keep your head up, gotta keep your head up, gotta keep your head up, gotta keep your head up.
This is our story of a man who sacrificed his life for the cause.
Gotta keep your head up, gotta keep your head up, gotta keep your head up, gotta keep your head up.
